Corcovado National Park
Corcovado National Park covers and area of 50 000 hectares, almost half of the entire Osa Peninsula, in the South Pacific of Costa Rica. Covered 95 % by tropical rainforests, lagoons marsh land and mangroves, and surrounded by small villages, rivers and hills, Corcovado is a rich and unique ecosystem, a national park that attracts not only tourists but also scientists from all over the world that come to Costa Rica and to Corcovado to explore and discover the unique an d rich flora and fauna, a wildlife described in National geographic as the most intense biologically place on earth. Corcovado is home to hundreds of species of birds, reptiles, amphibians, mammals and also a rich marine fauna, including dolphins, sea turtles, whales and other.
